7 C´s da literacia digital de carreira
Social media is central to students’ employability. To enhance their chances of career success students’ need to be equipped with the skills and knowledge required to become digitally career literate. This encompasses much more than being able to protect ones reputation online and an ability to use social media packages. It also requires students to create content, collect and critically evaluate online information, adapt to on-going technological developments and develop an ability to build meaningful professional relationships online. Academics and careers professionals have an important part to play in this process by facilitating opportunities for students to develop such skills and knowledge during their time at university.
